Couples are constantly wondering if it’s the right time for them to move in together; this is a huge step and any relationship. One of the biggest questions that couples are always going to have is to know if they are ready. This is an important question to ask, and the best way to answer this question is to talk to your significant other and ask her questions about what she expects to change and stay the same. There’s nothing worse than a rash decision that ruins a blooming relationship because it was pushed too far, too quickly.

With all of this being said a generic list of warning signs for couples to heed has been created. Cleaning out the clutter can be an overwhelming task and one that is easily put off. But with a little patience and organization, getting to the end result is not as discouraging as it seems. The following steps will guide you to de-clutter your life and have a successful move without feeling like your going through a Nationwide Relocation Services ripoff. It’s all in the preparation for a smooth transition.

Getting Started

The first thing you have to do in getting rid of the clutter is to get the proper mindset. Sometimes when looking at the big picture it can just be too overwhelming. So don’t look at how much you have to do but simply divide into sections and concentrate on that area and then move to the next. You will never get started if you don’t know where to start.

Set a Goal

Look at the timeframe that you have to get rid of the clutter and prepare packing for the move. Count the rooms, garage and outside areas and divide this by the amount of days you can spend on removing the clutter from your home. Then critique this even farther by giving yourself more time on the bigger or more cluttered rooms and less time on the smaller areas. To Move or Not to Move: That is the Question!

You’re moving – you’re not moving. You’re moving – you’re not moving. Believe it or not this happens from time to time. You think that your house is sold and then the deal falls through at closing; or your new job in a different city doesn’t happen because the company suffered a set back. Stuff happens and this can affect your moving plans. Sometimes, however, the reason that the move is off is because of you. You can’t seem to bring yourself to take that next big step. If this is the case you might want to take a moment and think about what you need to do as far as canceling your move or going ahead with it.
